  • "China Is Positioning Themselves …"!?? What sort of grammar is THIS supposed to be?
Correct = China is positioning itself
    or
    The Chinese are positioning themselves

  • China has been battling pollution for years now, they either have to deal with the problem through clean power initiatives or risk dissent from the people who literally cannot breath.

  • USA will fall behind the rest of the world in respect to clean energy and all the potential jobs that would be possible.Old oil industry is so damaging to the environment, and with Trump the USA will not be looking for the newer non oil industry jobs. There are potentially more jobs to be had with clean energy business's.

  • Air pollution isn't nearly as noticeable here in the US. The Chinese people are well aware of the hazards, whereas Americans are playing dumb.

  • China needs to greatly develop renewables to replace coals in order to solve the smog problem. Such is the only choice for China

  • Solar is beating coal and gas in price in 2017. In some areas it is already cheaper. So, the decline of the coal industry in the USA has nothing to do with regulation to help prevent climate change. It doesn't matter if Trump will get it because it will happen anyway and I am curious what he then will tell these poor coal miners. Will he invite them again for some show effect?

  • China really getting behind green energy investment throws off people's expectations of the adoption rate of solar panels.
If solar panels continue to get cheaper there will be no way that a fiscally responsible person can support the fossil fuel industry.

  • Is Donald Trump is deaf or he is ignoring all this….
USA should be called as America Pvt Ltd… Run by CEO and businessman..

  • 98{2926adbe9d5efe15cdd71803f3adbd0753091c5491a4687b622765a0a93bb12e} of the world's ebuses are in China (2015). By 2018, ~ 99.9{2926adbe9d5efe15cdd71803f3adbd0753091c5491a4687b622765a0a93bb12e}. ~3000km of mass transit railways are underconstruction ( 3600km in operation as of 2016).

  • Let's stick with the Republican party. They tell us they know best. What about all those jobs at risk in the gas- mantle-packing industry? Renewable electricity – who needs it? I'd just as soon choke to death on coal fumes. Dur!
