HUMANITARIAN NEWS – KHCF, WHO sign agreement to treat Iraqi cancer patients

In humanitarian news, the World Health Organization donates US$240,000 for Iraqis’ medical care in Jordan. The funds will be contributed to the King Hussein Cancer Foundation (KHCF) to support treatment for disadvantaged cancer patients. Three other similar grants totaling US$900,000 have been made over the past two years to the hospital. Since 2006, over 1,600 Iraqi patients have come to the KHCF, which is the best equipped cancer treatment center in the region. Our sincere gratitude, World Health Organization, and King Hussein Cancer Foundation, for your combined efforts to provide excellent services to those in need. We pray many lives will be saved and enhanced by your praiseworthy joint endeavor.
