HUMANITARIAN NEWS – More companies tap Open Door Fund to hire disabled

In humanitarian news, Singapore companies hire more workers with disabilities. Seventy-nine organizations have made use of Singapore’s Open Door Fund, which provides subsidies of up to over US$70,000 to modify workplaces, redesign jobs, and set up apprenticeship programs. Of these firms, 22 have made use of the fund within the last year. Set up in 2006, Open Door has helped approximately 400 people with physical challenges find long-term employment to date. Our heartfelt appreciation, Open Door Fund and participating companies, for your caring actions to help your fellow citizens. May all people be graced with abundant love, opportunities, and happiness.
