South Sudan soldiers plead not guilty to 2016 attack on aid workers

In South Sudan, 12 soldiers have been formally charged with crimes ranging from rape and murder to robbery and looting. They’ve pleaded not guilty to the July 2016 attack on a hotel in Juba. CGTN’s Patrick Oyet reports.

    in the west, soldiers go through 6 months of training where they are physically, emotionally and physically exhausted to the point of breaking then rebuilt as diciplined, focussed soldiers.

    these men are warriors who have little cohesiveness as a unit and little dicipline as physical strength is more important in these armies than dicipline of thought, focus and restraint.

    a warrior's honor is the opposite to a soldier's honor.
