  • You're definetely one of my favorite vegan youtubers because of the work you do, thanks for these types of videos. I've linked your food and "how to go vegan overnight" guides to countless people already. As a small tip, it would be much easier to read the description if you used more formatting, especially if you put more empty lines between the points under the "How to go vegan overnight" section". Also in this video's description in particular, you accidentally linked to your guide to vegan food instead of your guide to activism.

  • I pretty much just ignored watching the Royal Rumble chatting to people on Twitter because of you! I hope you're happy? hahahahaha 😀

  • I had twitter for years now and I never knew what useful things I can do there! Now I know! Thank you so much! ♥♥♥

  • I'll just add a few points in addition to this:

Twitter's search function is like being able to sieve through the prayers of people and comes with a certain amount of responsibility in answering them…

I find it's really helpful if you want to get quite serious about this to keep tabs through some sort of log of who you have helped become Vegan and to check up on them after about 2 weeks to help keep them inspired and let them know that if they have slipped up or come across any confusion or obstacles.
It really helps to not go in and educate them immediately but first off ask them about their situation and just ask questions to help them overcome any obstacles to progressing to Veganism by giving them the space to share it all.
It's really important to not encourage half measures – as people will do this anyway if you promote Veganism if they need to – you are just in danger of prohibiting the development of someone who just needs more encouragement to do something they have never done before.
Keeping a log is also a great way to stay positive as it gives you a number of people you have directly helped which allows you to evaluate your own success on days where creating a Vegan future seems overwhelming.
Controversy is a great way to garner attention and get people talking – but once I get onto Direct Message I am always really polite – and when things come up that I am not an expert in I make sure to not take on those issues as my unqualified responsibility.

While googling any new issues that people bring up is a great way to learn as you encounter them – it's important to develop a body of knowledge before attempting this as more harm can be done than good if you are confused about certain things – it's important to have a good basis in abolitionist theory, some basic understanding of human biology in regards to amino acids and digestion and a thought through vocabulary that will not make Veganism seem in any way alienating or challenging.

Finally – it is also important to not get too involved in these stranger's lives and allow them to become dependent on you for support long term in Veganism (as google exists and they are capable) and also for being their support for non-Vegan related issues.

  • Are you kidding me?! This fucking works! Been following your tips since yesterday, sent them to your or cheap lazy vegans videos and the response has been fantastic. Will continue doing that for sure.

  • Thank you for this! Just started up twitter and your complete guide to vegan food is incredibly useful for replies on vegassist!

  • Holy shit this makes me want to use Twitter lol I have never liked Twitter but to just make more people vegan then I should look into this more 😊
